Music & Worship

As the Worship Leader at ABC, I have a unique opportunity to serve two different groups of people. First, I get to help people within our church use their talents to honor God. We have many who are gifted vocally, instrumentally, technologically, and creatively, and every week a large team serves in our worship services — on the stage and behind the scenes.

Second, I get to serve you. If you attend our church, I want you to be able to participate in every part of our worship service. I invite you to join in and sing, pray, meditate, worship, and learn.

Psalm 100 gives us a great reminder of how and why we should worship God:

“Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.”Psalm 100

Ways to get involved

• Sing in our choir. We meet at 6:30 on Wednesday nights and regularly help lead worship.
• Join our tech team. We need sound, visual, and livestream technicians.
• Join our worship team. Has God gifted you vocally or instrumentally? Come use that gift.
• Use your creative gifts. We are always looking for new ways to encourage our congregation to worship God. Do you love taking pictures or video? Do you enjoy creating digital art or finding new ways to do things? Are you an “idea person”? Come serve with us!
